Earth to Table Vegan Market

September 13 • 10:00am

Earth to Table is so excited to be back at House of Rose Winery! Featuring a variety of plant based vendors, food trucks, and wine. Join us to stock up on your favorite items and find some new ones. Then enjoy lunch and a glass of wine in our picnic area. Family friendly and dogs (on leash) are welcome 🌱 Entry by donations to Stars Piggly Wiggly Sanctuary.

Voices Unheard: Final Two Episodes

September 15 & 22 • 7:00pm

Voices Unheard will return for the final two episodes of the season on Sept 15 & 22. Voices Unheard is a weekly livestream series produced by Unicorns.LIVE in partnership with Kelowna Pride Society. The intent of this series is to bring awareness to underrepresented members of society, which includes people of various racial backgrounds, sexuality, gender identity/expression, age, or ability. Host Jessica Samuels will engage a different guest each week in a candid conversation about the challenges they have faced or continue to struggle with, giving them a space to share their experiences and helping them to tell their stories. 

Voices Unheard will be available via live stream at Unicorns.LIVE. The Livestream is free to watch and after the live show ends the video on demand is available to Unicorns.LIVE subscribers only.


QUSIC: Daughter of the Moon

September 16 • 7:00pm

Daughter of the Moon (she/her) is a dream/soul/folk songstress living on the Traditional Coast Salish Territory (a.k.a Vancouver, B.C). She shares the deeper ethereal pieces of herself through song and her performance of voice & guitar have been described as haunting, yet healing. Her songs often share stories of women, the 2SLGBTQ+ community and the natural world of non-human beings. She creates with the hope of reconnecting to her own roots and inner truths - and perhaps inspiring others to do so as well.

A wild songstress, Natalie has performed in India on the banks of the Ganges, song-written on the beaches of Central America and Hawaii and has toured with her albums across Canada twice from Vancouver Island to Newfoundland and back. Her albums “Daughter Of the Moon” & “Sweetness In the Shadows” are both available on all music platforms and her next one is due for release in 2021.

Anyone wishing to attend this show in person at Friends of Dorothy Lounge may do so at no charge, on a first-come, first-served basis. Lucky Monkey LIVE from the KCT

September 19 • 7:00pm

We are thrilled to be partnering with Lucky Monkey for the return of Live Music to Kelowna Community Theatre. They will be performing a live 45 minute set and this event is supported by the Kelowna Community Theatre as they work to bring back live events to the theatre. 

The live stream of the show is available for $5.99+GST. As this is a special collaboration the live show will not be available to subscribers. The recording of the show will be made available to subscribers 7 days after the show airs live.

Purchase your livestream access before 7pm PST on Sept 12, 2020 (one week before the show) and you will get entered to win an in person experience for yourself and up to 5 people (your pod). As we reluctantly drift into September, we celebrate Kelowna’s Pride Festival from September 20-27, 2020. Our perpetually pickled hostess, Sparkle, will once again be joined by endlessly elegant Ella to guide you through making some refreshing and dangerously delicious cocktails. Featured on this episode will be the ‘Homopogo’, a gin-based cocktail with a shout out to the legendary Okanagan Lake serpent, and ‘Off the Stonewall’, with a cucumber-infused vodka base and a tribute to where the Pride Movement all began! It’s Pride 2.0 with A Sip With Sparkle, coming up on Monday, September 21, 2020 live at 7:00 pm PST only on Unicorns.LIVE!
