[Victoria, BC - October 12th, 2022] — Rebellious Unicorns and Friends of Dorothy lounge are excited to announce the return of QUSIC to Victoria. Taking place on Wednesday, October 12th, the Queer music series is excited to present the talent of Matthew Presidente, Karen Donna and Hoélune Rose. The event begins at 6PM, and is ticketed! The show will feature two sets from Matthew, and a set each from Karen and Hoélune.
“We’re so excited to finally be able to bring QUSIC back to Victoria'' says Dustyn Baulkham, Executive Producer and the visionary behind the series. “With the help of CreativeBC, we’ve been able to bring back a platform for 2SLGBTQ+ musicians to showcase their talent”.
On the docket for the evening is Matthew Presidente, a Vancouver based singer, songwriter and piano player. Known for his upbeat shows, original songs and short, short, shorts, he’s very much looking forward to the show. “It’s been many years since I’ve performed in Victoria and I’m so very excited to be coming back with QUSIC and sharing the spotlight with talented artists. I’ll be bringing an energetic show with great new tunes - along with the lovely stylings of Karen and Hoélune you’re in for an exciting night of music!” As mentioned, joining him for the evening will be Karen Donna and Hoélune Rose, two artists from Victoria. Karen will be bringing her acoustic talents, while Hoélune will be wowing with her mesmerizing voice.
QUSIC is a wonderful opportunity for the community to get out and support their local artists. We expect to see as many people as possible at the show. The performances will be outstanding! October is a slower time of year for events, so take this as the perfect excuse to get out of the house for an evening. Tickets to the show are on sale now for just $10, and can be purchased online from rebelliousuniconrs.com or at the door before the show. Beware though, purchasing in advance guarantees you the best price and a confirmed spot at the show.
